Friday 5/16/2025
so foggy can't even see the river

Marty's missing
so it's Jeff truck for the tools today

Checking the sign in sheet
the chief notices there is a great turnout today

Len and Dr. Dave
put a sling on the first rock of the day

have the next rock ready for the highline

We like using big rocks for the crib-walls

Saturday morning and still no Marty

Beau and Sebastian
start their day by pulling the tubs

And before we knew it, it was already break time

Ahh, some sun,
maybe this mud will finally dry out

has anybody seen my safety glasses?

By lunchtime,
making great progress

Ahh lunch time.
Len makes good use of a new park grill

Jeff is really enjoying a fresh cooked hamburger

Got to hand it to Jeff now,
it's time to get back to work

First thing after lunch,
a big rock goes for a ride

Linda & Terri using cargo bags,
to send buckets of gravel down the hill

Then the buckets are hand carried to where needed

These set of steps are looking pretty good

Just a few more steps to go
until we make the turn

Sunday morning, Marty has returned

The chief waits patiently
for the big rock on the highline

Dan gives us a reminder of just who we are

Back at the rock pile,
Terri keeps breaking big rocks

Terri has been busy making great steps

But sometimes the big rocks just shatter

Dan searches the staging pile for the next step rock

This is a great crib-wall, looking downhill

Sunday's lunch break and plenty of sun

After lunch,
Terri is back breaking rocks

Her first attempt was a success,
but the second attempt, not so much

1/2 hr. later and still no crack

End of weekend crew meeting,
a small but productive crew today
